The fine print, in plain print.
What this site is, what it isn't, and where every number comes from.
Education, not advice
Singularity Securities publishes financial news, education and tools for general informational purposes only. Nothing on this website is investment, financial, tax, accounting or legal advice, and nothing here is a recommendation, offer or solicitation to buy, sell or hold any security, digital asset or other financial product. The content does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Before making a financial decision, consider your own circumstances and, where appropriate, speak with a qualified, licensed professional.
Using this website does not create a client, advisory, brokerage or fiduciary relationship.
Investing involves risk
All investing involves risk, including the possible loss of the money you invest. Past performance does not guarantee or predict future results. Diversification and asset allocation do not ensure a profit or protect against loss in falling markets. Historical averages mentioned on this site, such as long-run stock market returns, describe the past and are not promises about the future.
Crypto assets
Crypto assets are highly volatile and speculative and can lose most or all of their value. They are not FDIC or SIPC insured, transactions are generally irreversible, and the regulatory treatment of crypto continues to change. Scams targeting crypto investors are common. Coverage of any crypto asset on this site, including live prices and explainers, is not an endorsement.

We work to keep data accurate, but it is provided as is, may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and should not be relied on for trading.
Hypothetical tools and the Lab
The calculators, time machines and the Lab paper trading simulator are hypothetical illustrations for education. They rely on assumptions, such as constant returns, that real markets do not follow. Backtests use past prices and exclude factors like dividends, taxes and most costs. Simulated results have inherent limitations, do not represent actual trading and do not reflect the effect of real financial risk on decisions. No real money, securities or digital assets are bought, sold or held in the Lab.
News from third parties
Headlines on the Wire are gathered automatically from public feeds published by the Federal Reserve, the SEC and news organizations. They belong to their publishers and link to their websites. Their inclusion is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for third-party content.
Examples
Lessons sometimes use fictional companies and rounded numbers to make an idea clear. Any resemblance to a real security is unintentional, and examples are not recommendations.
